RESEARCH GROUP

Vitalii Mitrofanov and his former post-graduate students and followers who had successfully supported their theses and obtained the Ph.D. degree in the subjects which continue to be studied in the CADMCS. Nowadays the majority of them work at Poltava National Technical University (Ukraine).

Mitrofanov Vitalii

  • Graduated from the Poltava National Technical University (PNTU) in 1961.
  • Ph.D. degree: Building Structures, Moscow, All-Union Civil Engineering Institute (VZISI), 1982.
  • Place of work:
    • The PNTU: positions from assistant to Head of the Chair of RC and Masonry Structures, 1961 – 1997.
    • The Center for ADMCS, Head since 1997.
  • Field of Specialization and Research Interests: structures analysis and designs, Theory of Plasticity and Fracture Mechanics of concrete, concrete behavior under multi-axial non-uniform stress-strain states.
  • Publications – more 130 works.
